    What is Paternoster Row?

The original Paternoster Row is a historic street in the heart of the City of London, running just north of St. Paul's churchyard. In the Middle Ages it was the home of many sellers of paternoster beads; in later centuries it became a street of booksellers. Nearby are Ave Maria Lane and Amen Corner!

This Paternoster Row is a source of information about historical paternoster and rosary beads, including photos, resources and bibliography.
